Hello world!

As a software developer ‘Hello World’ seemed like the thing to say, although as a developer of embedded software, perhaps I should just flash an LED?

Embedded software does a job, and it also has to do that job reliably, so ‘Working Software’ felt right.

Igxity – what about that name? How do you even pronounce it? Well, I am Ian George and this is all about me so Igxity seemed to fall out of those two ideas. I like to pronounce it ‘ig-zit-ee’. Was it a mistake? On the plus side, the name was unique on the internet but … no one can pronounce it! So yes, it was a mistake!

And there you have it except to say that I am not taking on any new projects. I got tired of chasing other people’s dreams so now I am chasing my own. One of those dreams has to do with being a potter and you can find out what I’ve been up to on my other website: elmhurstcreative.co.uk.
